General Payment Information 

Cash/Check/Credit Card

We accept cash, checks (payable to NCHS), or credit card (Visa/MC) at the main office. 

Only one check is needed to pay for all sports participation fees, club dues, class fees, fines, ASB, PE uniforms etc.

Student payments are only accepted before school, during lunch and after school. Parents and guardians are welcome during Cashier's Window Open Hours.

Make payments at anytime, from anywhere with your VISA, MasterCard, or American Express credit card. Touchbase provides a quick and secure option to make payments for many school fees. Parents with more than one student can even make payments for each student all in one transaction!

Paying for Meals

You can pay for meals online using PayPams. The PayPAMS program accepts VISA (credit/debit), MasterCard and Discover cards. If a parent pays for multiple students at once,  they will only be charged once convenience fee of  $1.95. There is no charge for parents to sign their students up with PayPAMS in order to check student balances or view cafeteria purchases. 

You may also pay for meals by bringing cash or check to the school kitchen. Please include your student's ID number with each payment.

Getting an ASB Card

ASB card stickers are available for purchase at the Cashier's Office or online using Touchbase. Show your receipt to the cashier to receive the ASB sticker.

Lost ASB/ID Cards - Need a Replacement?

Replacement cards are $5 at the Cashier Window.



Parents can view fines by logging into their online payment account at with their TouchBase username and password. If you need your username and password, please contact Wen Hay at

  • Students with outstanding fines/fees will not meet on-track graduation requirements at NCHS.
  • Students are encouraged to return books, athletic jerseys/equipment, etc. in lieu of paying fines. No textbooks will be accepted after October 1.  Books will remain on account as lost until paid.
  • NSD issued textbooks may not be replaced with a personally purchased copy.
  • Students who believe a fine is listed in error must contact their teacher/coach for the item(s) to be cleared from the fine list. Teacher/Coach will notify the Cashier via email or in writing to remove the fine. 


All fines and/or fees must be paid or cleared for students to purchase a parking pass or to participate in:

  • Sports
  • Cheer
  • Clubs (FBLA, DECA, Honor Society etc.)
  • Dances

Additionally, non-payment of fines and/or fees may result in submission to collections and withholding one or more of the following:

  • Yearbook
  • Transcripts
  • Commencement cap and gown
  • Optional graduation supplies, such as announcements
  • Diplomas
  • Exclusion from participation in the Commencement Ceremony


Refunds are processed by the cashier’s office and will be sent from the district office. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

Cash/Check Refunds

  • Refunds for payments made by cash/check are mailed to the home mailing address of the student's parent/guardian. 

Credit Card Refunds

  • Refunds for payments made online are credited back to the processed credit card account. If credit card is no longer active, a check will be issued.

Book Refunds

  • Students shall have until October 1st of the following school year to return all previously lost, non-damaged books for a full refund.
  • NSD issued textbooks may not be replaced with a personally purchased copy.


Registering and Paying for the PSAT Exam

Juniors and Sophomores -
In our continued commitment to our students’ college readiness and our ongoing improvement efforts, the annual PSAT/NMSQT exam will be administered to all juniors and sophomores at NCHS during the school day on Wednesday, October 10, with results being available in mid-December. The PSAT measures critical reading, math problem solving, and writing skills that are important for success in college and in other post-secondary pursuits and is the qualifying test juniors must take to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation scholarship program.

  • The reduced fee is $13.00
  • Payment is due by September 21

  • Payment can be made online through the parent's TouchBase account (it will be reflected in the student's account as a fee that is due in RED at login) or by cash, credit card, or check payable to NCHS at the Cashier's Office.
  • Students who are in need of financial support can contact their counselor for assistance.

Ninth Graders – As previously announced, freshmen who paid the reduced $13.00 exam fee by September 10 were registered and had an exam booklet ordered for them to test during the October 10 testing window. Registration is now closed.
