College and Career Readiness

SchooLinks

SchooLinks is a web-based system our district uses for college and career readiness, college applications, and the High School and Beyond plan. All students who are actively enrolled already have an account. Parents do not have accounts, but can ask their students to share what they are doing in SchooLinks.

Here is the process for logging in: SchooLinks is part of the Clever Portal. Please log in to your Clever account, you will see the SchooLinks icon/button under Northshore Tools. When you click on the SchooLinks icon/button you will go directly into your SchooLinks account.

What is a College or Career Visit?

College visits:

College representatives come to North Creek in person and share information about their campus. This is an excellent way to connect with the person who may be the first to read your application.

Career Visits:

Individuals representing various careers will come to campus and share their knowledge of past, present, and future of that career path as well as the pathway to that career.

Sign up for a College Visit

Here is how to sign up for a college visit:

Log in to your SchooLinks account at https://app.schoolinks.com/login/k12
Click the "Events" tab to the right of the "To Do List" tab on the top of the page
Go through your "unregistered events" to find a visit you would like to attend.
Once you have clicked an event a panel will pop up on the right side of your page.
Click the blue "Register for this event" button.
Check the box next to "Yes", then click the blue "submit" button.
This event should move to your "Registered Events" list.

Your name will automatically be added to the attendee list.

Your job is not done yet, however!

You must connect with the teacher you have for the period of the visit and confirm that it is ok with them if you go to the visit. If you attend a visit without permission, you will receive an unexcused absence for that period.
