Cheer Try Out week for 2026-2026 is March 31 - April 3, 2026
Dear NCHS Cheer Team Applicants,
Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a member of the North Creek High School Cheer Team for the 2026-2027 school year! We are excited to meet all candidates and look forward to learning about you as we build the upcoming NCHS Cheer Team.
Tryout week will take place March 31-April 3, with the official tryout on Friday, April 3. Throughout tryout week, candidates will participate in clinics and preparation sessions leading up to the formal tryout. Final team placement will be based on overall performance, effort, attitude and program fit.
Official Tryout: Friday, April 3, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, NCHS Gym.
Team Announcement: Saturday, April 5, 6:00pm. Results will be shared via Instagram and emailed privately.
During tryout week, candidates will learn and practice material to be performed at the official tryout, including a dance routine, the NCHS fight song, a sideline cheer and basic motions, jumps and kicks.
On official Tryout Day, candidates will perform in groups of 2-3 and demonstrate introductions, jumps, kicks and all learned material.
Team placement will be based on overall performance, effort, attitude, and program fit throughout the tryout process.
Application Requirements
Once you sign up for your group interview using the link below, please ensure all required materials are completed and submitted by the stated deadlines.
All required items must be completed before a candidate is cleared to participate in tryouts:
● Signed tryout application packet
● Completed tryout questions
● One letter of recommendation from a current teacher or coach
● Printed cumulative GPA
● Group interview signup completed
● ALL district required athletic paperwork submitted through FinalForms
● Current physical on file with the school
● If any athletic paperwork is missing, candidates will not be cleared to participate in tryout activities until everything has been received and approved.
